The Police and Mental Health Review is the result of a major initiative of the Provincial HSJCC with the support of CMHA Ontario. It reflects an ongoing commitment to working with Ontario's Police forces to better support individuals with mental health problems involved with the justice system. A second project is currently underway to identify training resources for police who encounter persons with mental health problems.
